Cs Source WILL NOT OPEN

I just downloaded Css, it is the only game i downloaded. I restarted my computer and it says next to CS SOURCE "100%-Ready". SO i click it and get the loading screen, the loading screen does its dot thing where it goes from one dot to two dots to three, and then dissappears and nothing happens.

Have you tried restarting your computer at all?
Tried validating your source files? (right click Counter-strike source in steam and click Properties, then click 'Validate').
Tried updating your video drivers?

yes i have restarted my comp several times, AS I MENTIONED IN FIRST POST
my vid drivers are updated and i can play ut2k4 just fine
validation didnt work

btw in the future please help me instantly regardless of the instant messaging capabilities of the forum
