Do you hate steam?

Steam is fine for me. Although I wonder. What happens when I want to play Half Life 2 again it 10 years? And Steam is no longer up and running. How do I activate the files??? But other than that, I like it. People complained about how it was down on the day it came out, but I had 0 problems. And Steam is working fine for me. *knocks on wood*

I'm sure there'd be provisions in place in case this ever happened.

As for what ^Ben is saying, I entirely agree. There's too much Steam bashing that doesn't seem very constructive. Sure, feel free to vent if you dislike it, but there's ways to get your point across and "lololol omgf Steam si teh sux" isn't an example of a good point.

If you're going to discuss it, do it in an appropriate thread, in a constructive manner and it'll all be ok.

Ok, just to clarify what I meant.

I don't care if you make a thread bashing steam, great I would of come and debated it.

What I don't like is when there is a topic about steam, that isnt about the pros or cons of steam, and than you get someone who comes in with "steam sucks" and the thread takes a complete nosedive.

As you would probably notice I like giving help and advice to people(I would say a big % of my posts are in help threads) and it just does not help people when that happens.

As this is going to be my leaving post(yeah I don't like people who make topics all to themselves so i'm just gonna hijack my own) Cya Chris and Pi, two people I would of liked to hang out with.

I'm not making this leaving permanent, just say i'll be AFK for a long while.

But seriously it's a love hate relationship for me. It's quick and conveinent but has it's share of problems which I've already brought up to you. It's like shopping at the 7-11 that makes the best slurpees because the guy pisses in them.
