on the contrary, there is one instance of sexual violence in Silent Hill 2; you know, with the table monster that is shaped like a man raping a girl.
You have to get me a picture of this thing.

No there is no sexual violence in HL. Of course sexual violence is not appealing, but don't you think that killing a bunch of human beeings in any awfull ways like smashing heads with a crowbar, making people burn alive, making them slowly disolve in particles, cutting zombies in two and so on is really a nice and educated behavior !!
What is so special and disgusting in sex, without sex you would no even be able to ask that question and play games.

The only thing even remotely related to sexual violence in HL2 is Dr Kliener's pet headcrab...

"She'll attempt to couple with your head... Ugh... Fruitlessly..."

That's neither sexual nor violent :|

Oh come on, you people haven't played Silent Hill 2? That was one of my greatest gaming moments ever.

Alyx hugs you in episode 1... I think thats as sexual as it gets =p

Only game I can think of with any sexual violence is Killer 7.

Unless you include games like Goldeneye where you can shoot people in the crotch and the game monitors the number of times you do it. But even then it's the player ultimately doing that (the shooting) and not the game.

The Sims games kind of fit into this category too for you can slap someone after you kiss them. GTA games and Duke Nukem had you killing prostitutes and strippers, but once again, that's only if the player decides to go about this.

In the end, the only real sexual violence you'll find in games are those that are player created, such as all those kids posing models in Garry's Mod.

To the extent of my knowledge, no game in history has ever contained "sexual violence".

Barring, perhaps, pornographic games and some prominent subtext in the Silent Hill franchise if you're being very strictly against it, it just doesn't exist.

Unlike the relatively large amounts of such content in the other medias. Every second CSI episode has a rape-murder.

Silent Hill (the original and SH2) have some strong sexual violence themes, though. SH2 in particular - while there are no graphic depictions of such violence, there's plenty of symbolism and story points related to rapes. Including a father raping his daughter. Then again, the game does also have some scenes that could be perceived as rape, just that it's not, uhmm, really inter-human stuff. Those who've played SH2 will know what I'm talking about.

Guys (kids?), there's a huge difference between nudity and sexual violence. Don't be so ignorant as to say "OMG, it's just boobies", because there is a hell of a lot more to it than that.

Something else to chew on, maybe the OP has personal reasons for not wanting sexual violence in his/her games?

Well it is "just boobies" because the sexual content of mainstream videogames is entirely non-violent and rarely even explicit.

Actually Killer 7 involves a maid taking advantage of an old man while she beats him up and has sex with him.

Also, the Soul Calibur universe involves a cursed zombie pirate raping a girl. I found that out earlier whilst reading profiles. XD

But yeah, Killer 7 actively parades its sexual and violent content. It also has young children being stripped naked, and then crucified on walls. It's a pretty nasty game.

the only game with sexual violence i can remember is called:

Downtown Rape spree PRO IV Collectors Edition (including manual)

I agree, there isn't much except boobies and bikinis in most games, however, I'm not referring to the sexual content of mainstream videogames. I'm referring to people like flycrusher and Minerel, who are suggesting that they don't understand the difference between cleavage and RAPE:

I hate it when people don't mind blood and bullets and killing...but when it comes to more open things its... "OMFG U CAN'T SHOW THAT!!".....ok if you can see blood, death, and shoot people...you can see some boobs.

Way to totally miss the point. We aren't talking about Barney accidentally seeing Alyx in the shower. There's more to sexual violence than that.

I'm extremely sensitive to any kind of sexual violence...

FYI - I have no problems with depictions of sex, violence, or sexual violence in my games. (DISCLAIMER - As long as it is done tastefully, ie. there is reason for it being there, moreso than shock value. I prefer depth and meaning in my entertainment, thank you.) However, I don't have to be the same as someone else to be able to accept and respect their views or experiences.

Someone may have become intimately familiar with one or more of these mature subjects, and they'd prefer not to see it in their ENTERTAINMENT. That's totally understandable. To call them a pussy for it shows a lack of intelligence.

In closing: The OP doesn't want to play a game involving sexual violence. Fine. For whatever reasons, he/she does not want to see it in his/her entertainment. He/she is not saying that there is no place for it in ANY entertainment, just his/her own.

That's like saying every movie with a nude scene was made by the director of Titanic.

Possibly one of my favourite games of last year. And now beerdude owes me 50 "bucks."

no, he owes EVERYONE 50 bucks. Then I can use the money to buy EP:1

Sexual violence and themes in movies/games is the shit! Some very powerful movies and games are born.

Who remembers Pyramid head raping the manikins in Silent Hill 2. That was insane!

Oh BTW in ep1 ALyx says "Is Dr. Kliener asking everybody to.........'Get Busy'

I can see in ep2, after surviving the fall somehow, alyx needs some fresh clothes, so she gets changed, then Gordon sneeks in and peeks, then Gordon says................(0)(0) hello down there:)
