ahhhhhh man you lucky son of a gun!
I have been trying to get a les paul for some time now, but all I can afford are cheap Chinese knockoffs ;(
How about an Epiphone?
Post some pictures of your favorite toys!
get a tube amp .
Transistors have replaced tubes in pretty much everything, except certain sound equipment. Mostly because they're pretty much better in every way; more efficient, cheap, reliable, etc. But for guitar amplification, you really can't beat a good tube amp. They're just so much more.. "organic." They're warmer, they distort smoother and more naturally (hell yes, tube saturation!), they bring out picking dynamics a lot better, etc, etc, etc. They're also bulkier and weigh a lot more, but they sound so much better!Just to clarify, what are the tubes for, because I thought they were pre-historic transistors
*dribbles* Question is, can you play it?
Nice Les Paul, by the way. Nice price for it, too,. How does it play? I haven't played an LP in a while, but I remember it being a little bulky for my tastes. Perhaps it would grow on me.
I woulda kept on flippin the strum bar until I got the red one...
I think it's blocking your TV.
