Hi all :)
This is a project i've been working on for the DotD mod. (www.dotdmod.com)
I've been learing how to model and been putting it into use by adding quite a number of new models to the map. I've also been detailing etc. I still haven't had time to compile with the new HDR compiler, so i'll be leaving that till its all complete. For now, Bloom mod will do.

quick overview
well it's two, 9 story apartment blocks, with 7 enterble apartments for the zombie mod, "dawn of the dead".
It is made to be a survival map, so the player(s) (up to 6) must hide in the rooms of the apartments from the hordes of zombies, where they can find ammo and weapons in places such as under the bed and in cupboards.

For the lazy gits, there's an elevator to each floor :)
You can see it at the very bottom of the overview shot, tho it's not very clear to see.
 
Wow. Very nice. Looks like a cool, open environment.
 
Reminds me of GTA San Andreas. Get some HDR on it dammit! Then it would look uber sexy :D
 
If you have people spawning on random floors (and you may very well already have this), include either a set of decals (1,2,3,etc.) to indicate which floor you're on when you enter the stairwell, or have something unique about each one in terms of debris, etc.

The top floor of the red brick building on the outskirts needs to be a bit bigger or somehow distinguishable from the rest of the floors, so it doesn't just look like you've slapped a texture on a face (of course that's what you've done, but there are ways of making it look more authentic). Also the tiling doesn't match up with the floor heights of the building you can enter, but this is pretty picky tbh.

Overall great job and I'm enjoying looking forward to fighting zombies on the stairs ;)

How does one control the elevator then? I mean if it goes to every floor.. how do you control which floor it stops at?
