Got a question for all of you.

I've searched and searched and can't find the answer:

In the absence of a money base, how will the invisible hand create money?

<3 teachers that teach nothing in class then ask you questions about stuff they never tought you. Yay tenure!!!

hmm, i can see two options, replacement of the system with bartering, or using broad money, such as credit. I don't quite understand the way your teacher has set the question tho

In the absence of money they would barter. IE trade 10 chickens for 1 cow.

That's the thing, it's not the total absense of money, it's the absense of coins and notes. And depending upon certain peoples definitions, bartering is not the same as money... which is why the question might be asking for something different. meh, if it's at a low level then i think they'd accept bartering

I think you are over complicating things.

Perhaps electronic money and/or credit? There are no coins nor notes used.

we'd all share what we have and live in world peace

Hey folks, great stuff. I'm doing more research but I think I have a good idea what I'll be writing. Thanks alot :D

this is a dramatic reinactment, viewer discretion is advised

man: yes I would like to pay for my gas
salesgirl: how would you like to pay sir?
man: by not killing you and raping your dead body
salesgirl: fair enough, g'day sir
