Interesting, especially regarding the pineal gland and dmt, i personally think that's purely it however, i don't know where they got the idea of the DMT releasing a soul or something, it's just blatantly having major effects on the brain and hence odd experiences.

Our brains our wired similar to one another, we are clearly going to experience similar effects when the same chemicals are applied, it does not mean we are all part of something etc.
