http://au.gamespot.com/xbox360/acti...e-newell-today-on-the-spot-extended-interviewGabe Newell said:I think there are also lots of opportunities between interoperability between our various games so we kind of look at, sort of, crossover DLC ideas 'cus we think there is a lot of overlap in the groups of people who play these and so giving people incentives to move between the different games is something that we are looking at a lot.
...
But we are also, I think from a design perspective, looking at all of our games and trying to think of, are there ways to add value to these collections of games? So if someone has Team Fortress 2 and they have Left 4 Dead 2, you know, what's exciting and interesting to those kinds of customers?
So, more crossover stuff is probably on the way. This interview was done shortly before Bill's Hat was announced and I assume it is the sort of thing Gabe meant. Given the annoyance by some about how Bill's Hat was a preorder-exclusive crossover I'd expect a more general approach in the future.
Since Valve would have access to all the stats regarding who owns what it sounds like I'm hardly the only one who owns 90%+ of all Valve games.
