What are those Flying things in Coastline Video. Damn those things are manueverable and fast. Are those things machine or organic or What are they? Is it Combine or is it fricken just machine. Can anybody give me facts please. those things are cool though.

Half living, half mechanical.. a living ship, if you will

:naughty: It's a Combine Gunship. Not much is known about them. They look like a Earwig bug(pincher bug) mixed with machine. They also have an armament, a laser which shoots from it's abdomen, and machine gun on the head.

No, they were not made by humans. They are aliens from Xen.

I dunno why they are necessarily from Xen, they could well be more advanced troops from the Combine side of things. In fact the fact they have an artificial weapon as opposed to some kind of natural 'power' makes me think that the robuts have landed.

Combine Soldiers
seem to be the main type of enemy you’ll face in Half-Life 2, although we don’t know exactly what they are or why they’re after you because we don’t have many details on the story. They appear to be humans, but you never know. Their hobbies include trying to shoot you with their guns and that seems to be about it. __

Ok, I cheated, This screen shot is from front line force. But they used a model from the orriginal half life. The large red storage crate thing on the top left. Notice the symbol. Now look at a halflife2 screenshot or two:
