Forum shakeup

Right, there seems to be a little confusion as far as HL2 Singleplayer and Rumours and Speculation forums are concerned.

There is a blurring, and it isn't exactly clear what post should be posted in what forum.


Discussion about the HL-series storyline should be limited to one forum (The rumours and speculation forum, which should be renamed), including such posts as "Do the combine control Xen" or "Is the G-man Gordon's dad?"


While HL2 - singleplayer should be restricted to gameplay issues, such as "I can't get past...." or "anyone notice that combine guy having a spliff outside the railway station? I think it's a bug"

It seems to be quite a popular idea now that Rumours and Speculation should be renamed HL Mythology, to incorporate discussion about the entire storyline...

Allow me to clarify - Rumours and Speculation was more to do with discussion before HL2 was even released, now the game has been out for a while, it would let us seperate the storyline from the gameplay issues. Rumours about the continuation of the storyline would be included in HL2- mythology.

What are your thoughts?

This is better, the rumours and spec forums i don't look in very often anyway, the general HL2 forum should be cleaner now though, good stuff.

What about rumors regarding Aftermath, other HL2 expansions, Half-Life 3, Team Fortress 2, etc?

I don't think those fit in with HL2 Gameplay or HL/HL2 storyline.
