Thanks, but I don't think this works with compiling hl2 code for hl2 mods.

And I forgot to mention that every time I try to compile a basic program, it gives me the error that file MSVCP80D.dll can't be found...

Valve & Microsoft re working on a way to get this working with Mods.

Anyway, you also should get the SDK Header files. I'm actually making a program in C++(dll) and C#. Coming along nicely using VS2005 Express.

Thats too bad about the HL2 Source SDK.

I installed it last night, but haven't had time to mess with it much - other than using it as a fancy notepad to search for particular words.

I haven't even looked at all the features, but the debugger would have been nice to have a few months ago when I had some bugs that were really hard to unearth. This should be useful at least.

I'll be using it for Doom 3. I hope I don't have any prob's.
