That "these things take time" excerpt is from a Kickstarter video for a sword game (and it was actually posted in news). Obviously just poking fun and obviously not an official quote about the development of HL3. Return to your previous state of nervous despair.

Well, I'd probably put my 2 cents on the fact they are waiting to release Source 2 or working HL3 secretly with the development of Source 2, I'm sure they want to make it worthwhile rather than use the old yet reliable Source engine.
