Hey guys. things have really been slowing down around here so i thought i'd boost up our morale by posting up some of my most recent work. its for a small game im currently programming on the Irrlicht engine(im going to move to source soon). i like to document the progression of projects so im going to post the concept and then models.

how many polys is each hand. They seem way to high for my liking. You have obviously sub-divided them but there is alot of cleaning up to do. you could lose some rows on the fingers too. Rows of lines (I forget what you call them. should never just stop. In contrast the gun seems very low poly compared to the hands. Prehaps more detail could be done to the middle part of the gun which is the main part you would see ingame.

The gun design is really good though and the hands seem to deform well.
 
yeah the model is subdivided but it looks much the same without it . i'll post a render later on after i've finished optimizing it , its about 500 polys without the Mesh smooth. as for the gun i thought i could get a way with just texturing it but at this point it seems clear that it needs a lot more work. thanks for the crits :D.
