The 9x19mm isn't the only bullet the Beretta M9s can fire. And the muzzle velocity of the P90's 5.7x28mm bullet is about 3 times that of a .45ACP, that with it's shape allow it to easily penetrate body armor (kevlar), which the .45ACP can't do (or almost any normal handgun round).so you like small calibers?
well, the 9mm M92F just feels like a BB handgunSir Phoenixx said:The 9x19mm isn't the only bullet the Beretta M9s can fire. A 9mm is about the same size as a .38Grey Fox said:Can anyone explain something to me.
I know a .50 or .45 is more powerfull then a 9mm, but what caliber is a 9mm. why do you designate some guns with mm and others with caliber. and why haven't I heard of anything above .50 caliber. A good link is also fine.

holy shit! you know your revolver's EXTREME if it has a shoulder strap!SIGbastard said:That gun is a pussy cat compared to a S&W 500 magnum http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/2500/2521.htm
I really wouldn't want to shoot either of them though. I've shot .44 magnum plenty but the .454 is ALOT stouter.
Read a few posts after that, dude. Different systems of measurement.john3571000 said:"Originally Posted by Recoil
Calibres with a dot before the number are the American system. .45 means 0.45 inch. This is the diameter of the bullet. 9mm means the bullet is 9mm wide. The correct term for 9mm is 9x19mm though, the 19 stands for the charge behind it."
shouldnt wide and diameter mean the same thing???
