five years ago i was listening to MTV and i heard a song that i liked...it goes something like "there is a star..." (dance/techno style) i downloaded it then and burned it to cd. this cd got lost soon after, and i eventually forgot about the song.

a few days ago i was listening to the band Freedom call (power metal band) on an old cd i made and there was a really cool song i liked called "Pharao"

so i decided to youtube the song. while listening to it, in the "related videos" frame i saw a song made by an old band called "Pharao" (i never heard of this band before, it's techno/dance style). i clicked on it just for kicks expecting to be a metal band. while i was listening to the song, in the related videos frame i noticed "Pharao-There is a star". upon clicking on it i just found the old song i was listening on MTV five years ago.

hope i was clear enough, i suck at story telling.

anyway...the chances of winning the lottery are bigger than this coincidence.

While we're on this topic, it's been a while since I have any deja vus.

it's not exactly a true dejavu but, amazing nonetheless.

seriously, two entirely different genres, five years apart and i wasn't even looking for songs, just clicked because i was bored.

damn

MTV can be non-fail sometimes.

Like one time I heard this song by Pearl Jam, that has resisted the passage of time and

On a slightly unrelated topic, I think I'm psychic. I've predicted a few things and more often than not they've come true. E.g. I get the magazine Sugar on subscription and one time before I got he magazine I dreamed that there would be a girl who had written into the letters page called Salma. When the magazine came a bit later on, I was flicking through and I came to the letters page and there at the bottom of the page was the name Salma. And just recently, when I got the last issue I had predicted the night before that there would be someone called Kia. I was thinking to myself what spelling it would be, i.e. whether it would have an h or not. I predicted that it wouldn't. And so i got the magazine and turned to the last page in the Lad Mag and there was a girl named Kia, spelled with no h.
These two things are true. I have not made them up. They honestly happened.

You shouldn't be posting that shit here. The guv'n'ment will come and take you away to be part of their super-soldier program for people who can accurately predict names in magazines. Do you really want that? Would you really doom us all with your carelessness?

I remember I was watching MTV and they shows a music video.
Then it changed to some other shitty show.
I got bored.
Anyway, by my calculations, the chances of hearing two songs within 5 years are about..
365^5*X
X= the number of songs on youtube

I love when that happens.

Once I heard this lovely song in a pub and I asked if anyone knew what it was. No - but one person used their phone to contact a song recognition number and recieved via text the information, which I then saved to my own phone. Months later, I was cleaning out my messages and found the text on my phone. I fed the song name into www.deezer.com and listened to it and it was great and I bought the album OVER THE INTERNET. Isn't technology wonderful?
