Gold announcment real soon

Its been around 96 hours since HL2s RC went of to vivendi. Taking note that Half-Life took a mere 48 hours from release candidate stage to going gold, this could mean we will receive a gold announment as quick as tomorrow.
That or either a fault has been found and Valve are fixing it. Either way this is good news, so look forward to tonight or tommorrow. Oh, and remember what Chris Bokitch said about the gold announcment, that it will be announced via a wide-spread press release.
And finally, to make it even clearer, remember Gabe said about releasing the game as soon as possible and not holding it back.
To me this all adds up to good news, infact brilliant news. :thumbs:
