Googletube?

I read about this yesterday, am i right in saying its not completely gone through yet? Incredible how google are monopolising the internet now - why would they want YouTube when they have googlevideo.

It is to my understanding that google used to charge for their video service but stopped cause they couldn't compete with the awesomeness that WAS utube. Do you guys think theyll start charging for it, or make us watch retarded ads before videos?
 
I'm sure google will keep it awesome. Im not too worried.

I wish I could "Impulse" buy something for 1.65 billion dollars.
 
I have more trust in Google than Microsoft, though Google's monopolizing everything at the minute too.

keep in mind google is a company and like all companies, they have to prioritise profit.. but they're usually pretty cool, i think this will only be good..

And apperntly someone told me that google are going to start giving people money if they make videos that are watched alot.

I heard that they werent planning on changing it much. Hopefully that means we wont be bombarded with a bunch of ads.
