hey, so this might sound stupid but this is a serious thread.
so alxy is semi-attractive right? and gorden has been couped up in that suit so long.... so mabey gorden and alyx will hook up in the game?

I doubt hl will turn into a love story. After all, u choose gordons actions, so if u really like her, u keep her alive (thus being your love story). If u hate her, u prolly kill her.

i think its pretty obvious that they will. in the end im sure either they will:

a) exit the last level, perhaps be outside of the city limits as it is nuked. look to each other, and alyx will be like "so...want to come over for a beer?" and theyll drive away together

or

b) alyx will die in the game as suggested by someone else on this board

I'm thinking that that probably won't happen DURING the game (a first-person sex scene would be... awkward ), but I can see it suggested at the end. A sort of James Bond-like "hey baby let's go celebrate my liberating the world" then fade to black thing happening :naughty:

Edit: edited to say that I don't really WANT to see that happen for any other reason than so I can feel happy for poor, abused Gordon

wait... even better. lets say alyx dies and gorden gose into some super depressed state. where for a couple of missions he is actual trying to find out what happend to he.(her isent there when she dies, he just hears about it) so when he finds out he learns that it was actualy the g-man. then the game ends, and hl3 is gorden going after the g-man for revenge.

or

alyx and gorden hook up... make a baby... and hl3 is you playing gordens son/daugter... because alyx and gorden are old.

A bit off topic ...

I have a feeling that the ending of Half-Life 2 isn't gona be anywhere near as peaceful as the one of HL1.

Possibly the G-Man takes the handgun out of his briefcase, hands it to you, and you must make a choice to whether to kill someone or not.

Or maybe you approach a scene where Alyx is holding a gun to G-Man's head and then you must decide who your real friends are.

what if there was a plot twist where the G-man becomes jealous of Gordon when he sees him and Alyx together. He [G-man] then kills her because he thinks that if he cant have her, no one can.

I don't know the gman seems to like people who manage to survive through adversity, i don't think he'd be the one to kill her for something like jealosy. However if she was directly interfering with his plans...
