Half Life 2 preload

Im preloading hl2 agian for the third time. Dont ask i just had some spyware issues and just reformatted everytime just to get rid of them, anyways I have a question about the preload right now it says i have to wait 1300 min untill i can play is steam slow today or saomthing cause last two times i did this it was just a few hours to load and play the games.

1. Reformatting is last resort, you should try things like system restore if you have it or simply finding a way to remove the spyware. Rarely can you not remove it.

2. If you had to reformat more than once to get rid of it, that means you are doing something wrong and it's bound to happen again. Stop downloading pr0n.

Not sure, on weekends Steam is usually really busy. Check to see if you have anything in backround...
