Mend your ways, before its too late! - Father Grigory (Half-Life2)
Now... about that beer I owed ya - Barney (Half-Life2)

As you see I downloaded the Half-Life 2 demo version, and it rocks! You play a little bit in the intro, before beeing sent to "Ravenholm" where all the aliens are. Headcrabs are just so.. cute! You play trough almost the whole chapter, then the demo ends.

End of the line for you! - Barney (Half-Life)

But after playing this demo you think "Hmm, maybe I have 49 dollars in my pocket? Yes, I have! Lets go to the store at once!" I mean it, this demo really made my heart go wild. Its christmas time and you are waiting for the Santa to come (with Half-Life 2 of course), but your mum dont like the game (My mum like it! Serious!:D) you want, and you are going spend the 49 dollars, because of your mum... But what about daddy? He will buy it, you think! (Your parents maybe think "We cant have our child sitting on the computer for the next two years!" Nothing is sure! So, I would say "Run down to the store and buy it!" Maybe there is no Half-Life 2 when you get there!?! If so, just log on to Steam and buy it there! Then download it! Beautiful! Exelent.. there is so many words I wish to say about Half-Life 2.

But, one last word! "BUY!"

I lied... there is more to say...
When I wrote : Your parents maybe think "We cant have our child sitting on the computer for the next two years!" Because of the SDK of course, Valve have let us, the gamers create our own world with the (Brilliant) Source engine. Isn`t that nice, huh?

I'm glad you like it - now go out and BUY IT!!! You'll thank me (or Valve more likely) later.

Just to clear this up once and for all, because it is ultimately the only thing that a retail owner needs to know about the demo:

How is the transition between these two missions handled (like what happens to get you from one place to the other, and where does each section start and end?)

Oh and is the Gravity Gun in Demo Ravenholm?

1. Yes, the gravity gun is in Ravenholm.
2. I`ve played trough almost the whole game.
3. I was supposed to buy it today, but I found a cheaper place when it costs only 299kr (Norwegian Kroner) in Trondheim (in Norway). Thats cheap!!! :bounce:

Yup, buy buy buy buy...

I have the full version installed on my computer, but with no cd and no cd-key its no good....

But, what kind of computer do you guys have?

Mine is so bad that I want post it here until someone ask`s...

Hmm, both sections starts and end with fading. I dont remember when they end, but in Ravenholm you play very long before it ends!

The section from Point Insertion is from the start, 'till where you enter the apartment. Then it fades out, and quits to menu, then you can start the "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" chapter. That starts in the normal place, and finishes with Grigori leading you to the mines, the bit where he says: "tread lightly brother, for this, is hallowed ground.."

Get it, you won't be disappointed. Especially with mods like Insurgency under development, we'll see some great stuff in the coming months.

how you think will take to dowload the demo whit a 52k conection? :P
