Half-Life 3: Epic Battles

Who thinks epic battles would work in a HL game, let alone HL3? I mean, huge numbers of combine, running through a vast stretch of desert. Behind them massive striders (even bigger than in HL2) running and throwing up clouds of dust. In the sky helicopters and combine air vehicles zoom in from behind... And theres Gordon Freeman leading the assault against them.

I don't think Valve inspires to require everyone who buys the game to purchase new super-computers in able to play out such battles though.

It would be pretty cool if they had the same kind of street battles as hl2, only on a much larger scale. How much larger I guess will just depend on the hardware limitations when hl3 comes out.

Though I tell you what, i'd love to see that scenario. With APC's driving over the dunes, some combine holding onto the side of it, standing on the skids.
