Half Life Help

Was feeling nostalgic so I have been playing Half Life lately. I have currently just entered the Lamda Core and I am at the part where I have to flood the reactor but when I go to do that I turn both wheels and it only goes about half way up and I can't reach the ladder. Can someone help? Thanks.

It's a rare bug. Get back to your old save (or use noclip to reach top).

Yeah that's happened to me before.
I suggest you try reloading a save & trying again or use noclip to reach the top.

EDIT: Dammit, I didn't read Barnz's post, it's nearly identicle, lol oh well.
