Wow...

Now that was extremely cool- sure there was no actual gameplay- but damn if it weren'y sexy!!

Couple of story things in there too- I presume that girl at the beginning is Master Chiefs sister, I vaugely remember one of the books saying he had a sister.... probably wrong about that though haven't read them in a while.

And um, shield grenades.... cool:)

Wow, that was actualy... pretty cool. Maybe Halo 3 will be the best of the series and actualy complete the whole story and fill in details from before Halo 1.
 
I love how readily accepts that footage will be what the game looks like, but killzone 2 is impossible. *sigh*

This didn't even pretend to be in-game.

Killzone was in-game, no wait it is a target render, no wait it is a cinematic trailer.

That's cause Bungie told everyone weeks before that it was a CG trailer. It used some in-game art assets and that's about it.

They made sure everyone who watched it knew it was CG.

BTW, that's awesome :D I guess the X button will be shield grenades?

*Edit* For those of you with Xbox360's it's available on the marketplace. 50 megs for the 720p version!
 
As much as I think that Halo is utter wank... that was pretty cool. Only, I wish all these awesome CG trailers were actual playable sections of the game (they might still be). As in... I don't want to watch Master Chief do cool stuff, I want to be Master Chief doing cool stuff.
 
Very awesome. Hopefully Bungie's making sure they have a solid SP campaign.

Oh damn, I just remember new Halo novel is supposed to be out and about.
 
That was a very short but sweet teaser.

I like the shield grenade he throws to the ground at his feet.
 
Heheh... at the beginning of the teaser I was like 'wtf is this ****ing ad I don't care *skip to end* and then I see FINISH THE FIGHT and then I was like 'lol, I see what they did'.







The girl is masterchief, right?
 
I think the girl was Kelly, one of his first two partners at the beginning of the training.
Can't wait to see what the game holds in store, I wonder if the movie will be anything like these.

It looks tasty. I just started re-playing Halo 2, and it's not that bad. I guess the huge expectations and having played Half-Life 2 ruined Halo 2 for me, but playing it now, it was an enjoyable experience.
 
Not quite what I expected (Good thing, not bad) and it was pretty darn good.

Also, it seems it (Shield thing) isn't a 'grenade.'
Frankie: Why does the shield have to be from a grenade? Obviously the object is grenade-like. But who says it's a grenade?

well after you click the link provided in the first page, you click on the 1280x720 thing and then go to the bottom and there's a link there, right click that one.

now that was really really cool. i really like the sentimental aspect they put in there, it was a really lovely little cinematic, i wasn't expecting that at all.

and are he voiceclips for ilovebees still around?
 
the kids talking is one of the best bits, without that it would just be a really standard boring teaser.

plus you miss out on something with significance: the green mortar looking type thing that's arcing through the sky. i missed it the first time i watched it, it goes behind the tall grass on the left hand side. maybe it's meant to be he first covenant drop or something.
 
Kick. Ass.

That trailer achieved one thing for me. And that is - I want to play Master Chief. His badassery just increased threefold.

I'm actually excited now. This trailer has restored my faith in the Halo series. I hope they don't mess it up though.

If he has a sister, it's never mentioned in the books. It could be Linda, Kelly or one of the other spartans. There were girls in the Spartan II program.

Oh, and yeah, that trailer was Awe-sex-some!
