...have updates ever made any changes to HL2 single player?

I have been wondering if the so-called steam updates have actually added anything or made any difference to HL2 as a single player game.

After the horror of initial installation ( I live in a remote area and connect at 33.3 kpbs) I have never let steam go anywhere near being online and so I am able to play offline without too much song and dance.

I am not interested in playing anything online, for the obvious reason.
Did the updates effect SP or did they just tweak the online component.

Cheers :farmer:

They reduced loading times, fixed a large number of bugs and overall tweaked HL2, singleplayer and online.

Thanks Rimmer, I might chuck steam online one day before I smeg-off on a trans-Pacific swim...

Also, Overwatch soldiers grenade alot more now.

However, reinstalling HL2 is pure hell. I am, in fact, going to reinstall HL2 now, but after I do it from the CDs, it will take another hour to download the updates... which I really don't like because HL2 is the only game I can't have installed within 10-15 minutes.
