Hi!

We're currently on the lookout for a few people to help fill out our little team.

Working on what?
The project known as "TR". We haven't announced the name yet.

What is it?
Technically, it's a sci-fi FPS. It goes quite a lot deeper than that, though. There's an entire third-person aspect, as well as some tactical and RTS elements.

Is it a mod?
No. It's a proof-of-concept demo using the Source engine. We've already had discussions with publishers - if successful, this demo will allow us to go forward with full-time commercial development.

What do you need?
At the moment, a concept artist (or two). Any modellers/texture artists would be considered too. We're at the stage now where the basic technology is almost done, and we need to hit the content hard.

Here's a few screens:

So, if you're interested, send me a PM, email me ( [email protected] ) or sign up on our forums.
Samples of previous work are absolutely necessary, as is a certain level of commitment. We're not asking anyone to put in full-time hours, but we are (intentionally) a small team so there's no room for people that don't pull their weight.
If everything goes according to plan (and that's entirely dependent on the quality of the demo), then this will become paid work.

Interested?

I would'nt mind dumping some attempt skins if I could see the concept :)

Though I'd probably be useless anyway since i i cant make models.

MM. I can't wait until this comes out and Pi evolves to his final God form.

I've registered at your forums. I'll need to read up on your game a bit (away this weekend I'm afraid) but I might be interested in doing some concept art (though I'm completely rusty ;)).

A fantastic opportunity to join a professional team that you know will produce a quality end product. I hope you find some good applicants for this Pi.

I didn't even know you did concept art. Got any samples?

I don't, but I'm a design visualiser by profession so I'm pretty sure I can give it a shot. Give us an outline brief of what sort of thing you're looking for exactly (concept art is a broad spectrum) I'll try and come up with some initial ideas for you.

Well, environment & objects are probably my strengths, as the work I do is spatial in nature (architectural visualiser). Less so figure/costume designs, but in all honesty when you can draw there are very few restrictions as to what you can't do given sufficient knowledge of the subject. The key to any visualisation is knowing what your aim is, that comes from a clear detailed brief. You want space ships? What sort of ships? Slick, grubby? Fat, thin? Huge, small? As big as a moon, as small as a rowing boat, etc etc? You want Interiors? Showing what? Incubation bays? Control decks? How many people are going to be on board the ship? etc, etc...

The more detailed the brief and background knowledge the more focussed you can be, woolly demands = woolly results.
