Help with custom map

Please forgive me if this question had already been asked and answered, but i was not able to find it if it had been. I have made an fy_ map for Counter Strike: Source and it appears to work just fine. However when i had given it to my server admin of my clans server, it will not allow other to download the map through source. It works fine if you download, and install it manually. It also does not show up in the mani-mod ( i think thats what its call ) "change/set/vote map" choices. I am thinking it might be how i compiled it or something wrong with the map in general. If any one knows how I might fix this, it would be a great help. Thanks.
