Hl2 Graphics

Hey

I've been playing Hl2 since it's release and I've never had any problems before. However after reformatting my pc I reinstalled it and have been having problems. Parts of models are missing and there are random things all over maps.


I'm not sure if it's to do with any of my settings but I have recently changed my graphics card ( I'm using a GeForce 7600GS).

Any help with fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried updating your drivers? Graphics card, mobo, directX etc...

yes definitely got to do something with drivers..

I've updated my drivers. Everything seems fine in hl2 at the moment ( there might be something wrong that I've missed) but am still having the problem in css

Have you over clocked your pc or video card?

Did you properly uninstall all of your old drivers first?

This exact issue happened to me when I got my 6600, that problem should only affect DirectX games.

I had to actually get a new mobo to fix this problem though.
