I have allowed my hair to grow over these past several months. The curls are perfect, however, it is just annoying me the piss out of me.

Lately, I've noticed the back of my head dangles to the point where it looks like I have... an honest.. to goodness... jheri curl..

I need it to be gone. I've tried styling it, but it just dangles in the back as if nothing is wrong. Cutting it short back there would look terrible mixed with the long hair EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRYwhere else.

I'm thinking of cutting it incredibly short, but with some remaining curls, however, I've spent an enormous amount of time fertilizing and cultivating this hair to what it has become.

HL2.net link me to the best hair style you can find for my hair:

I'll do anything to tame this beast.

Serious suggestions only. If I come back from work and find nothing but comedic posts, I'll have your heads and/or choose to never return to HL2.net.

This r serious thread.
I r serious.

a blade and engine oil

you look like a high school musical character

Only solution: actually turn into Michael Jackson.

Shammy, get some chocolate, melt it, and pour it over your body. And then lick it off. Insta-Jackson. And even more delicious.

he will have a lot of heads when he returns from work

You'd look like Carrot Top if you dyed your hair red.

Do it.

Holy shit Pesh is back! \o/

Also, your "dont make jokes" statement can only lead to jokes. But im going to agree with the carrot top idea.

I could've sworn you looked more depressed than that. You're always so depressed.

p.s. you're never ever going to scare me again.

You could get a smart hair-stylist to "lighten" the hair in the back to give your look slightly better "balance" without really shortening your hair.

A slight trim (make sure they know only a SMALL trim because you're still growing it out) will make it look better while you continue to grow it out. I need to get a hair-cut myself, even though I want to nearly double my hair-length.

I rofl'd so hard when I saw this.

To the rest of you, NO to carrot top. I'll kill myself before I look like that beefy mother ****er.

I looked at Simon Amstell, and his hair is ****ing amazing.

Seppo, you are correct. I will ****ing murder all of you. Don't think I won't. ****ing assholes.

By lighten, you mean to thin it? Also, thank you for the only intelligent post. I'm going to try and find a picture of someone's hair style I want to imitate, and hopefully, the stylist can do an amazing job.

I like my hair curly, but it is the same ****ing style OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.

I'm hardly an expert on hair, but they an layer it, thin it, or shorten it. They may even suggest various hair products for certain effets. Again, I'm far from an expert. My hair looks like crap right now anyway.

They'll know what to do if they're any good. If they don't know or act unsure, RUN.
