Holes in the maps of HL1 (Screenshots)

You should post them from a gameplay perspective, rather than that of a no clipped one. That said, there are holes everywhere, and there are plenty in HL2.

Yeah, I'm guessing you fired the tau cannon into the ground and jumped at the same time?

I can't be bothered to watch all that so can ya gimme the jist of the glitch?

pssh, thats because you managed to get to place you weren't supposed to be able to go and you can see how they optimized the levels (ie nodraw on any faces the player shouldn't be able to see)

I'm pretty sure the gauss jump was removed from singleplayer a long time ago, so you're really just showing that you haven't patched.

No it didn't. :O

This thread is exactly about how it broke the game with problems. :p

1. When you push a scientist against the door, the door opens. He used this to skip the level where you first meet the marines.

2.He used the mines to skip "Power Up".

3. In the test chamber sequence, he pushed a scientist in the way of the door so it doesn't close, this glitches and makes those randomly appearing Vortigaunts come down to the floor, and their electricity bounces him up into the control room so he skips the whole "why didn't they listen" conversation.(this glitch is hard to explain)

3. Gauss Jumping

Theres more...but I'm too lazy to think them all up. I think he MAY have used some cheats, such as Buddha. in one part he threw a grenade to the ground to propel himself up to a platform and he came out with just 1 health. He also seems to run around a bit fast, and can jump a bit higher.

I'm not bothered at all about these, but I sure do feel the nostalgy for the screens and the video. Good ol' days!
