Yeah. Although the graphics weren't that good but it is one of the few games that managed to make me afraid to continue playing .
One example is when I retreated to a room, locked the door, thought I was safe and then *boom boom* door is torn apart. Surprise! Scared the shit out of me

I hate proper scary movies, even though I end up watching them anyway. Zombies, monsters and gore are okay, it's just the kind of films where you're so creeped out you can't sleep at night that I don't like. (such as The Blair Witch Project and countless horrible Japanese films)

The Blair Witch Project was a joke. That was more like a comedy.
