Theres soooooo many mods out for HL2. What is the top 5 single player and top 5 multiplayer? (Free.. no pay)

And what are some good websites to follow up on new mods and stuff? I know theres alot of junkie ones.. I just want to know about the really touched up looking ones.

singleplayer - minerva metastasis
multiplayer - garry's mod

Those are really the only two worth playing at the mo' - other multiplayer mods that are kindof average but still worth a look are in my order of preference Dystopia, Hidden, Empires and Iron Grip. All can be downloaded from halflife2.filefront.com

Ones to definitely keep an eye on are Exite and Insurgency

Try out Empires. Its probably the most underrated mod out there, but it sure kicks ass. Its been a little while since they last updated, but I guarentee you that they are working hard on the next version.
