How do you pause during the steam videos?

find the bink tools on their web site which is shown at the end of the video

Without the tools, F10 worked for me... I also read that the Alt key worked for someone... Try them, and if they don't work, the tools definitly do.

I think Half-Life 2 is going to be real time. The clock in the video before the Strider comes was the same time as my clock on my computer. Yea it might be a major coincidence but i dont know.

Yea, thought of that. lol But it would be cool. Just a coincidence. It says 12:45 and that was the time over here.

You said it might be a major coincidence, you actually thought that the video had the right time on it? It's not possible, that video was recorded back in June. How can it tell the time today?

At first I thought the demos were playable, then I started reading about HL2 and downloaded em..damn!

If only I had a playable demo of that first scene they showed in the E3..that big room with barrels
