How good of a job do the mods of this forum do

Since last week i asume your members list has doubled and so has the work. But this really is getting ridiculous there are so many closed threads and god knows how many threads have been deleted, it must be tough for you guys having to deal with so many people who simply dont care and just want everyone to see what they've gotta say. I think the closed threads should be deleted anyway to cut down on the total threads, but hey this isnt my site or my forums, so whatever you do is up to you. I would just like to say thanks for providing us with these forums in the first place and give you a pat on the back and shake your hands for the hard work your doing maintaining this lot.

Delete, Close or move as necassary.

Allow me to inform you now that the locked threads you can see are just a fraction of what we have to deal with. Probably 3/4 of all threads are deleted, and the other quarter are left closed. It's a heavy job to fulfill.

The mods here are horrible, they delete anything they dont like ... even if its 100% legit and would make a good discussion.

Ohh yea they also made a forum called " Beta/Demo discussion" , they encoureged everyone to post pics there, talk about it, the damn thing got to like 10 pages and they deleted it.

That's not the point of this. The point is the leak is illegal and any discussions of it shouldn't be happening, because as law-abiding citizens, you shouldn't have downloaded it, should you?

It is and always will be illegal to post content of a stolen game on a forum. They could get in serious trouble. Besides, having content of the beta incourages downloading. They're not trying to make it go away but discourage it.

And kudo's to the mods, it's a hard job with all the jackasses posting piles of shit. :cheers:

I'm glad someone is doing something at least. However, if it were me, I wouldn't even bother to close threads, just delete them. Then sticky how many threads you've deleted as time goes on to let people know what you're doing. I would copy and paste the thread title of each one too as you delete them, just so people know what thread to NOT start. Then if they try posting it again, or talk crap through the PM ban their ungratefull ass.

Moderators doesnt always have to be mature, just possess a certain degree of common sense. For instance, saying something like this is not it.

But the fact comes that ALL the threads (or 99%, there might be some exceptions) that are locked or deleted, even if it seems like alot, have already been pointed out to be against the forum rules in the stickys. Some people get surprised that they are closed or deleted? I've seen alot. Meaning, they havent read the forum rules. So of course they complain about it! It isnt in THEIR rules apparently, so they go apeshit when moderators dont agree with them.

Another fact is, even moderators are moderated. If there are threads considered wrongfully deleted/closed, its just to complain to the rest (admins mostly, they are ones with more powers ) about that moderator.

So the moderating issue is not an issue at all. Either it was right, or it was wrong. There is no such thing as overmoderating. There is not only one moderator deciding everything.
