gordon escapes into a diff universe where gman actually resides from and the gman tells gordon has 2 choices one to go back to earth (matrix) cough*cough* or

he can stay here and watch the final moments of earths existance and help to create a new earth as if they both were gods gman (GOD) gordon (jesus)

its possible
the first matrix was awesome as was the orginal half life
second matrix was ok but not at good as the first like half life 2
thrid matrix sucked balls and the ending was so shitty, and its possible that half life 3 could do the same.

The only reason people think the matrix sequels sucked is because there was too much philosphy for them to handle. And it actually looks like Half Life is doing this...

The Matrix/Half Life-A basic story with a few twists, lots of action.
The Matrix 2/Half Life 2-Story becomes more in depth and the twists are even greater. Action is still as good as ever.
The Matrix 3/Half Life 3-Too smart for us to comphrend. Nice action.
