Are there any settings I need to change to get people to see my server? I've had no luck any getting people to join up. Is it cuz they can't see it, or am i just not lucky?

Well... is it a fast dedicated server with at least 12 slots?
Thats allways a good start.
Then try calling it something catchy. Or putting you're countries name in it. (People love going to servers with their countries name in it. probably cos of improved latency but also prolly some pride...
)
You could try something to make you're server unique...
Like.... I dunno. Purhaps you could try to make it low gravity. That could be quite funny....
I don't have any other ideas.

Dedicated servers are well... dedicated to running that server. So generally speaking they run alot smoother. Also it means the server can run on a regular basis. Which is something people like because they can use it as their "regular" server where they like to play on a regular basis....
What internet speed are you running the server on? And how fast is you're computer?

2.4 ghz with 2 gigs of ram, running on fast cable. Just set up a game with player limit of 4. Will people see it if I'm playing from same as hosting on?
