How to make weapons?

Hi, im new in this, and I require the help of the community for a proyect i have in mind since the game came out. In my free time, I design weapons, from simple to complex. But now, i want to port them to HL2. Is there anywhere a good tutorial on weapon-making? I would realy apreciate any kind of help. If this thread is found to be useless by anyone, please delete it. Thanx.

You could scan it in, and have a model of a piece of paper with a gun drawn on it in the game.

I don't think a piece of toilet paper is gonna cut it tbh.

Brush-based with the scanned texture would be better in this case..

You mean have a piece of paper as a physbox?

A fairly useless weapon, unless you use the gravity gun to give the enemy papercuts.
