How will Barney be introduced in HL2

So, let's start speculating on how Barney actually gets introduced in HL2! He has his punch line "Remember when we though Black Mesa was as bad as it could get?", but how the hell will he be introduced into the story? In Blueshift he got away in his car, but somehow he ended up where Gordon was in City 17...

Will Barney tell you in detail how he got there, or will he just walk around the corner and start recounting about Black Mesa?

Now that I'm typing this, I actually wonder how Eli, Alyx and the others from black mesa will be introduced... Hmm... I think we might just have to wait for the game to know how the HL2 situation in City 17 has started.

Anybody got good ideas on this?
