Good luck finding out who did. He wasn't meant to be home and certainly not allowed to have that party.
 
He's basically ruined his entire life. Won't be able to get a job to pay off the debt. And if he has a job; lets face it, they're not going to keep employing that tool.

I'm not saying that what he did wasn't stupid, it was, very. But he can't have all the blame.
 
I could be wrong, but it looks to me like his "perants" have spoilt him, not set boundaries and quite frankly failed to raise their child properly.

All i have to say is how is this NEWS? This shit happens ALL THE TIME! As lame as the kid is he handled that with BALLS and Perfectly might i add. The reporter was just annoying.

Now, im not at all familiar with how the law works in this regard, but can the party "thrower" actually be fined for what others did while off his property? I dont think he should be fined for throwing a party, the worst he should get is a strict punishment from his parents for throwing a party without asking. The fining should be applied to the people who actually started breaking things.

while the kid is definitely a prick, he can't be held responsible for others' actions.

If you take out the party from the equation, it would basically be like if you invited me over to your house, then when I got there I fire-bombed your neighbors car and then the police are making you pay for the damages.

The kids done more damage to himself than anybody else could already. Just because we can stick him with the bill doesn't mean we should. He associates are obviously just as big of tools as he is.


edit: the people who use the "well if you didn't have the party then none of this would have happened" logic are being silly. You can do that any number of ways. What if the city didn't have buses to get the kids to the party or if automobile manufacturers didn't build cars to drive them their, or maybe if his parents never had sex. I blame the wright brother's for creating airplanes which allowed his parents to take that long vacation and giving him the free time to have a party! I think travel agencies should pay for the damages!
