I found a glitch...

...You know the people in the campsite just south of Kvatch? The green shrekky woman who deals with armour and weapons ... if its daytime, she will be stood out there near her tent. Anyway, if you are on a horse, you can still talk to her and sell stuff. If you sell her the weapon that you currently have equipped, you will still get the gold for it, but a message comes up saying you cant sell equipped items (or something like that) and you will still have the item... so you can sell it over and over again.

So if you want a lot of gold, equip your most valuable item, then mount your horse, go see her and sell it to her a few hundered times.

Sounds like a good glitch. I think I've heard it happening with other merchants too, as long as you're on your horse.

I'm playing it on a 360 so I don't think there's a patch out for this yet (I have no control over when I patch games, its all automatic)

Can't argue with free gold though. I just need to rig a device that presses the 'A' button on the controller over and over again, so I can leave it going overnight.

If you're going to exploit it like that, why not just outright use cheats?

Unfortunately for you, the woman you refer to only has - what 100 or 200 gold to barter with? (more or less depending on your mercantile skill)

I'm almost positive the Xbox 360 version has a 'console' to where you can input cheat commands, etc.

Well theres no patch for the 360 version as yet - and the woman I sell goods to does not lose money when I gain it - so I can repeat the exploit over and over again just by repeatedly pressing A.

There is no console on the 360 version afaik, and I wouldnt use cheats anyway - they're just too blatent. Exploits are cheats for people that dont admit they're cheating, which is me.



I've just got 330,000 gold as i'm expecting them to patch it soon. I think 330,000 should be enough?

There is also someone who sleeps at the Imperical Chamber of such and such at the Waterfront with a steel mace, if you pickpocket him successfully or kill him you can loot it over and over and over...
