I have a cure for america regaurding missile attacks (or attacks in general)

The cure: STOP BUILDING UP YOUR MILITARY AND STOP THE STAR WARS PROGRAM!! The more the world wants to get into PEACE...america wants to provoke a war. Think about it. What will happen if the americans build the star wars program...the americans WANT other countries to shoot missiles at them...I mean who in hell shoots missiles at other countries in this age?? Americans are bringing up a challenge to other countries by strengthing their military and the star wars system. If they stop all that, it will bring a message to other countries that america is no longer EXPECTING an attack of any sorts.

America is constantly trying to have the strongest military...the unnecessary missile defense system and an arrogant attitude towards other countries. I think for the world to have a greater peace america has to stop trying to be the (world police) BECAUSES NOBODY WANTS YOU TO!!

The military is growing because people want to protect their freedom, and serve their country. The military is involved in more than you think, "War" the military has provided aide to my state of Florida when we had the hurricane season and we were unfortunate to be in such a position but we bounced back. Also the military are the people who protects us so anotheer 9/11 type thing doesnt happen

The most important factor in stopping terrorist attacks is knowing about them ahead of time (that comes from intelligence agencies). Then, usually, once we know it is coming the local law enforcement, airport security, federal air marshals, etc are enough to stop the threat. There are very few, if any, cases in which the military needs to be called in. So, no, the military isn't usually deployed during terrorist attacks... except in retaliation. Also, the military wasn't really needed after the hurricanes. They were probably just called in because they were either already in the area or they had nothing else to do. There were plenty of people willing to help out.

the monroe doctrine; an attempt to create a more insular republic and continent, safe from the precieved threat of european monarchy. isolationism, and noncolonization. various protective tariffs against europe in an attempt to stop trade. just a few. america was very insular to the europeans until world war 1.
