***I Need An Expert Map Maker***

I am making a new mod for HL2 that I will call "Rivendell: Source ©". I am trying to make the Game's Menu look real cool and mystic-like with new fonts. I have come up with the idea of using a (.bsp) as the background but I am not very good at making maps myself. I am hoping that someone out there could help me with no cost. The scene I am trying to use is a picture of Rivendell with Frodo leaning over a balcony.

I really want someone to make this for me. It would mean the world to me. I want it to look as much like the picture as possible and the spawn to be as of you where looking at the picture (Just without Frodo in it). Maybe add some falling leaves or flowers, or sweying tree's and a working waterfall. Again, this would mean the world to me. You don't need to add ammo, weapons, or an HEV suit. Just the map. You may use any texture you can find. Please someone make this for me, but make sure it looks as much like the picture as you can.

You don't need a good map maker.. you need a good prop-artist maker.
But still, really wanting it.. if you wanted it that bad you'd go trough the effort of learning it yourself ;o

I have tried learning it and I just can't get it. When I tried making, it looked like crap and so many things were messed up. I just know that there is an expierenced person out there who would enjoy helping me but I guess all I get back is someone dictating me. I guess there is no on willing to help me then?

It's plane facts, not dictating.
I think you need to ask it on some LotR forum/mod whatever, you might find more people willing to help there. You might find one here, anyway good luck.

i don't think turning up here and asking someone to do what would almost certainly be many weeks of solid high-class work for no good reason is a starter, frankly. you say your own attempts looked like crap - well guess what: so do everyone's else's first attempts. just keep trying
