I need kill all HL2 files - see why....

Need help

HalfLife2 running slow and thought I'd adjust settings (800 by 600 is fine for me).

Adjusted and now everything is in a fast-scrolling widescreen sort of format...toally unviewable.

Steam is good, other programs fine, and when HL2 loads....it's graphic garbage again. U

ninstalled and reinstalled...no fix.

Uninstalled, removed the HL2 folder uninstall didn't touch, rebooted, sweared, asked for forgiveness, prayed and reinstalled....no fix.

Somewhere there's a file or files that's holding the graphic settings. And it's gotta die.

Help!!!!!!

That is in the registry, just in case you didn't know. Use Start -> Run -> regedit
