I most definitely wouldn't want to kill him/her. I'd rather my enemy either left my life forever, allowing me to never ever see that person again, or just brutally punish the person with non-serious injuries so he or she learns his or her lesson. Basically any sort of punishment below permanent emotional scarring and permanent bodily damage.

I would kill someone /allow them to die if their being alive was a threat to my life and freedom.
There would be no point in killing someone other than for that.

There has been no one i have seen in my life so far who i would have killed, otherwise i would have killed them, irrespective of the law.

Definitely not. If you knowingly let them die and felt absolutely no guilt then there's something seriously wrong with you.

Plus, no matter what reason you hated them for, you could totally turn the situation around and use the "I saved your life" card to your advantage

Hmm, I think it would completely depend on the situation. In most cases, no I would never even think of not saving them. However, what if the person had murdered your parents or raped your daughter? I'm not too sure what I'd do in a case like that.

Hate and dislike are very, very different though.

You hate a rapist who raped and murdered your daughter.

No I don't think people like that deserve to die. It's too easy on them. People like that deserve to be locked away in a dark cell for the rest of their lives without any human contact just so they can live out the rest of their lives knowing that no one gives a shit about them and realize just how insignificant they've become.

Take Osama Bin Laden for instance. If they ever catch him, I hope they don't kill him because if he was caught that's what he'd want. To be a martyr. The worst thing you could do to him is lock him away with no contact so that he knows that he'll never be able to stand up and fight or became a symbol for his cause.

someone like hitler should be put in a bright white room, nothing in it, food through a little box, like a letter box, which should be on the cieling.

He shouldnt be allowed anything apart from the clothes he is wearing, not even a watch.

He wouldn't know when it is night or when it isn't, it could have wooden flooring to make it hard to sleep on to.
