I am creating a mod which involves awarding points to individual players. The problem is I have no experience outside creating brushes and entities. I have limited to no experience with scripts..
What I want to do is award a certain integer to players at the start of the game, and edit(add to) this integer linked to players according to what they kill.
Then subtract from the integer when the player uses a button or ammo box, for example.
This may sound familiar, a money system almost like counterstrike's.
What I also need is a system which manages waves of enemies, but that can wait. This would involve,among MANY other things, ex. a wave of poison zombies advancing on the players, but because of the their slow speed the lights of the entire map are turn off except at the spawn points.
Me and a buddy are working on this mod but neither of us have done advanced scripting or heavy complicated triggerd maps.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
