Invalid cd key, help.

Grrrr, It took me 150 Dollars to get Hl2, after I install, I put up the cd key, and it says

Invalid CD Key

I-m a 100 % sure, that the CD key is correct, what the hell should I do to play Hl2 ?

Make sure you only enter the first 5 groups of digits, the last one that is 8 numbers long doesn't count for the CD key.

Are you entering only the actual cd-key it would be XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX There is another # on there too make sure you arent entering it

Huh? Mine only has the 5 groups. What is this 8 number digit you speak of? Oh well it doesn't matter. Mine worked fine.
