Been waiting for 6 years, happy, gonna be happy forever cause who knows how extend of mods going to be made for hl2, I won't even have to buy another pc game again.

Half Life 2 is great but enjoyed Planescape: Torment more, and some multiplayer sessions in NWN is hard beaten (But then I do like those kind of RPGs more then FPS games).

yeah i like RPG more than FPS, but HL2 was NOT BAD AT ALL.

HunterSeeker have you tried Fallout 1 or 2 ? They are very good rpg`s

I think alot of people (specially RPG'ers) are hanging out for Gothic 3.... and for all HL2's superbness, there is still something about a game like Gothic that is hard to beat

Yes, HL2 is my THE game I have been waiting for since I started gaming. I feel more for the characters in this game than any other I have ever played. I feel sorry for the Vortigaunts I killed in the first one now, I feel sorry for Eli

, I HATE the combine, and what they are doing to the humans, and I relish every minute of killing them! I love the little moments when have what feels like a great victory to you, but

the resistance men/women are not rejoicing because they have lost someone close to them. Especially after the warehouse battle, where you kicked the combine's ass, and then went into the back room, and see all of the wounded you were not fast enough to save -- that made me so sad...

No other game has even come CLOSE to this level of involvement for me.
