Issue with April update

Steam, without permision tryed download the April update for HL2 and HL2 lost coast. I don't mid that but in the middle of istallation I got a error message.

Steam has found a problem with your local game file. Game files will now be reaquired from the steam server.

What the heck happened...

Steam ****ed up.

It's the classic Valve not testing the updates before releasing and messing up. Don't worry everyone has been effected but they should fix it soon.
