L4D in 3D has anyone tried this?

Nope, haven't tried it. Don't even have 3D glasses, but I did see it on Nvidia's website. Thinking about trying it later.

The hotlinks on that website made me think I was crazy for a few seconds. They change colors...

I downloaded the iZ3d drivers so I didn't have to mess with any registry hacks. But I have to say the effect is hohum.
Now if they somehow got this to work with the Real3D glasses you get from the movie coraline it might be a better effect but anaglyph is not very effective.

"Real3D" is a different system that uses polarized light instead of different colours. I really doubt that standard monitors are capable of doing that.
