MY gf just got a nice amd 64bit 3200 labtop with a mobile radeon 9600 in it... ive tried going to the ati website and getting the latest graphics drivers for it, but when i goto install it sais it isnt compatible, the os is Windows XP (not the 64bit edition).

Any help would be welcome and appreciated.

Well, you've got three options...

You can download Mobility Modder from DriverHeaven and use it to "mod" the official ATI drivers to support Mobility Radeons.

Or you can download either of the two tweaked ATI driver versions, Omega Drivers or DNA Drivers.

My choice would be to go with the Omegas.

p.s. Oh, and have fun with the new lappy! BTW, what make/model is it?

Its a gateway, and thanks you very much!

(im not in the laptop "know") :P

Thanks again! i personally would have liked to see and alienware laptop.. but hey thats me :rolling:

Yeah I got a laptop with stupid mobility 9000 in.

Trouble is these drivers are unstable, and the company couldnt be bothered to upgrade them ever. Ati doesnt upgrade laptops.
I tried the Omega ones before, but they were just more unstable.

Oh well i'll hit it.

Hey edit your post, don't double post

Or go to the official website of ATI. Maybe you'll find one there if ur lucky.

No, if you go there requesting mobility drivers they say you need to get them from your computer manufacturer, because the manufacturers tailor the ati cars to their machines or something stupid like that.
