Hey all,

I know I havn't been around the forums in awhile, but I've recently acquired a job at Turbine and they have been keeping me busy. I'd like to start working on a website in my spare time dedicated to helping people get into the game industry. I can make traditional HTML based page, and ImageReady/Photoshop pages, but as for PHP-Nuke and other similiar layout's I'm no good. The website would involve interviewing people working in the game industry, helpful links, employment oppurtunities, and more. I don't have money to offer for the website, and I'm doing this in my spare time. If anyone would like to help me by creating a PHP based layout it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

-Evan

I'd think it would be more productive to just do the research and interviews and then send 'em over to Gamasutra, Gamedev, etc... But if you really want to put the time in, thanks! :D

Btw, congrats on the job

craigslist is the bom diggidy for the west coast job hunters fer shizzle.

where is turbine located? I love being employed and no longer having to do this stuff for free, but Its good to get in here and try to help the fellow modders get jobs. Biggest thing ive found is even some awsome ones who you know would kick ass have to ask their parents and can't leave the state cause they are under 18 and shit.

Hello there, I'm a PHP Web Developer from the UK. I was curious to your plans with the website, the CMS system you were planning on using (or wether you want a fresh one developed) and generally the scale of features and time dedication by a programmer required.

I am interested, as any help to the community is a bonus - however some more general information would be good. :)
